On Tuesday 19 April, the project for the regeneration of the area was presented to the municipality and the press.

This historical location in the city of Omegna has been abandoned for years and will now be given a new lease of life thanks to the efforts of some local organisations: Aedes along with Blue Tours and Riva Est. The initiative will be developed through project financing, without the use of public funds, to emphasize their belief in the goals and commitment to the local area of the companies involved.

The project, designed by architect Alessandro Ciapponi, was presented to Alde Mellano, Mayor of Omegna, and will see the creation of a public area on the shores of Lake Orta, with a restaurant, bars, green spaces and lake facilities, with the aim of reviving the city's tourist activity.

As emphasised by Ruggero Spagliarisi (CEO of Aedes), once completed, the centre will be able to employ around fifteen people.

Further evidence of Aedes' desire to be a driving force of innovation and development for the region, providing the city and the surrounding area with a completely renovated location, for all resident to experience and enjoy.
