Aedes confirmed as one of the leading Italian companies in the field of restoration and urban regenerationOn 5 April the City of Turin awarded the company the task of restoring and strengthening the gallery and steps of the Murazzi section upstream of Ponte Vittorio Emanuele I.

The Murazzi del Po are all the moorings, arches and buildings located on the western bank of the river, north and south of the current Piazza Vittorio Veneto. They owe their name to the imposing stone walls overlooking the river, which provide access to the internal rooms, originally used for storage and garaging.

After a period of decline following the end of the river based economy, for some years now the area has been the focus of a redevelopment project by the municipal administration, with the aim of creating a new city centre dedicated to services and associations.

The work to restore the external constructions, carried out by Aedes, will begin on 1 June 2016 and will take about 365 days, giving back to the city and its inhabitants one of the most historical and enjoyable spots of the Piedmontese capital.
